About us
Pangea Genomics is the authorized distributor of Natera tests in Türkiye, Azerbaijan and Romania. We help physicians and patients access genetic tests such as Panorama™ NIPT, carrier screening and hereditary cancer genetic testing, based on clear scientific information.

Professional biography
Career
Born in 1974, Halil İbrahim İlhan is an entrepreneur and executive whose experience in healthcare began in 1999. He started his career in the pharmaceutical industry, working at Bristol Myers Squibb, Boehringer Ingelheim and Sanovel. He gained experience in healthcare professional relations, field operations and business development.
In 2012, he shifted his focus to women’s health, prenatal genetic screening and non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT). Since then, he has worked with international genetics laboratories and organizations to help bring these tests to healthcare professionals.
International collaborations
His experience includes collaborations with Life Genomics, Harmony, Igenomix (Spain), Macrogen (South Korea) and GC Genomics (South Korea) in prenatal screening and genetic testing.
Pangea Genomics
He has worked with Natera for the past five years. As Founder & CEO of Pangea Genomics, he oversees the authorized distribution of Natera tests in Türkiye, Azerbaijan and Romania.
His work includes expanding access to tests such as Panorama NIPT, carrier screening and hereditary cancer genetics testing, as well as building teams, developing physician education programs and establishing partnerships with healthcare institutions. He aims to build lasting collaborations grounded in clear scientific information and the appropriate use of genetic technologies in clinical care.
